New 14-Day Return Policy
 

No doubt, you will be anxious to get your new Barefoot Saddle and want to try it out.  Please use a pad under the saddle.  If you ordered a pad with your saddle, you should put a sheet or thin blanket under it to protect the new pad from dirt. Be aware that this will cut down on non-slip performance. Make sure to re-tighten girth after 10 minutes with all new saddle pads and check it occasionally when you are riding.  The girth will loosen off as you sit in the saddle, and will continue to loosen up during the saddle break-in time.  Do not oil the saddle or pre-bend the fenders before you are sure you will keep it.

If you are not completely happy with your purchase and want to return your Barefoot, we will gladly refund the purchase price of the saddle, provided that you have first notified us and it is returned within 14 days of receipt. Refunds will be processed once we have received the item back in new-like condition with all tags intact.  Happy Horseback Saddles may, on a case by case basis, accept returns on items that have been kept longer than 14 days but in these cases we reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee, deducted from the original purchase price. 

Please notify us before you send the saddle back. Repack it well and send it back insured for value, with Canada Post's regular parcel service. Refunds will be processed once we have received the item back in new-like condition with all tags intact.

When we have received it , we will credit your Visa or MasterCard, or send you a cheque.  Returned saddles that are lost or damaged in shipping and were not insured by the buyer are the buyers responsibility and no refund will be made.

A full item refund can only be given if the saddle and/or accessories are clean, hair-free, and show little evidence of use (we accept minor marks on the saddle flaps from the use of stirrup leathers). A 20% restocking and cleaning fee applies to saddles returned with any signs of dirt, hair, etc.

Returns sent without prior authorization, are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.

Saddles returned damaged, or in a condition where it is impossible to sell as new, are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, depending on condition. 

Should you have any concerns or problems with these conditions, please don't hesitate to talk to us about your needs and wishes. We are a small and flexible dealer and may very well be able to make an exception for you, or resolve any issues or problems you may have.

Order is Damaged, Defective or the Wrong Item Was Shipped:

If your order was damaged, is defective or the wrong item was shipped, please save the carton and all the packing material as well as the item. Please notify us immediately at 1-877-542-5091 so we can instruct you on the proper procedure for returning the merchandise. This will ensure the quickest replacement.
